Step 3 - Enter the Answer

Type the text of the question and add images, sounds and movie elements as required.
The Text Format bar can you used to control the font size & colour.
Step 4 - Add Alternate Variants (optional)

Sometimes to learn a fact you need to know it forwards and backwards. For example, to be sure that you can recall not only the capital of Iowa but also know which state Des Moine is the capital of, you may like to add a alternate view of the basic fact. You could create a completely separate card to cover the variant but instead of doubling the number of cards in your deck you can also use FlashFact's Alternate feature to add the information. During learning and revision of the card the variant you see will alternate each time. FlashFact support a maximum of 5 alternates per card.
Step 4 - Select the Subject (optional)
As you create FlashFact cards you can categorise them. Categorising cards has no material effect upon the learning and revision processes however it can be useful if you want to manage the contents of your deck at some later time. To create a new subject category right click in the subject panel and select New Subject from the popup menu. Rename the subject as required.
Step 5 - Select the Depth (optional)
The Depth of a card controls the order in which cards move from the raw pile into the learning process. In most cases you will simply leave this field with a value of 1. Changing the depth is useful when you are preparing a large deck of facts and want to ensure that some facts are learnt before others. For example it makes no sense to learn tivia about a subject until you know the basic facts. Cards with a smaller depth number are moved from the raw pile to the learning process before higher numbered cards.
Step 5 - Add the card
Press the Add button to add the card to the deck and clear fields ready for entry of the next fact. When finished adding cards close the Add Cards screen and double click the card deck to start the learning process.
